We only have been here at lake in the woods 4 months. We live in 3 bedroom 2 bath villa. We love how big and spacious it is a little over 1200 sqare feet. We love how quiet and private it is. Our neighbors are great it's like a little family feel here. The wildlife is amazing. The staff is great. Cindy property manger is so sweet and always pleasant to talk with. Chris and his maintenance team are amazing we had a leak with our kitchen faucet that was just put in before we moved in it was defective this happened on a Sunday morning I was so surprised how fast they responded the next morning they put in a nicer faucet then we had and even put in a soap dispenser and sprayer I couldn't be happier. He was so great and helpful and did as promised and went above expectations. We love it here. Now I know their are reviews about load noise bad neighbors and so on we have never seen any of this our experience has been completely opposite. Everyone is so friendly even staff never ever have we had a bad experience with staff. Now I will say our only complaint is the Grounds could use some work landscaping on our side needs to be better kept up. My understanding is the lawn service provided isn't doing their jobs properly and are over charging the property hopefully this gets resolved other then that we have no complaints. The price we pay for the size and space you just can't beat any where. We are not upgraded but we do have plenty of space large bedrooms big kitchen and plenty of storage. While we could get upgrades some where else we would definitely be paying way more then here. I noticed alot of complaints about rent going up every year any where you go the rent goes up. Mortgages even change. Over all my family and pets are very happy here. The amenities are great 2 gyms large pool nice grills and indoor basketball courts and Racketball mailboxes all indoor the club house is beautiful and the lakes and views are amazing so peaceful. If your looking for fancy smancy this isn't your place but if your looking for unique style and large space with quiet and wildlife this is your place.
