I've lived at Ashton Development for almost 3 years. While the rent is a little higher than I would prefer to pay, you get what you pay for. Water, cable, wifi internet are all included in rent. Duke energy (electric) runs me between $60-70/month on average which isnt bad at all. These apartments are in a nice quiet and safe area. Natalie communicates well with tennants and the apartments are well taken care of. Overall I have felt very comfortable living here.

Great place to live for Rose students. Lived here for two years. Natalie immediately responds to issues if they arise, she is great at communicating, and fair. The lease and rent is very reasonable. Loved that the cable and internet were included! Very convenient and work well. The appliances all work great and the apartment and surrounding areas are very clean. You can choose to include a nice washer & dryer in your apartment for an additional monthy fee. Every bedroom has a bathroom, literally incredible for roommates! It is quiet outside because of the Hawthorne Park surrounding area. Duke Energy can be pretty expensive for AC and heating (especially) so keep that in mind as an additional price to the base rent. It still doesn’t remotely touch the price of living on-campus or at the more expensive apartment complexes. You can also walk to Rose-Hulman, if you so may choose, by taking the Hawthorne park trail. If you’re planning on living there next year, sign the lease as soon as possible because they go quick if there’s any even available. All in all, really enjoyed my time living at Ashton JR & SR year.
