I was nervous when I first moved in because of the apartment complex right next to us but so far the office staff has been amazing and the maintenance guys, Paul & Terry, have been great! They are quick to come when you have an issue and are always super friendly. Its refreshing having staff that cares. The townhouses are nice too, they make sure everything is perfect for you when you move in.

I had a terrible experience at Brittain Park Apartments, primarily due to a serious bed bug infestation. I discovered bed bugs on June 7th, 2024 and immediately submitted a maintenance request for extermination. Once I found out I left the place to stay at a family house because I refused to be in that environment. Despite the exterminator’s confirmation and promises of weekly treatments, I found another bed bug on August 6th when I came back to start moving out, proving the treatments were ineffective. If anything they are probably just causing bed bugs to spread to other homes by just spraying one unit. Mind you my unit was not the only one!! Everyone that lived near me were dealing with them!! Communication with management was frustrating; I often had to chase them for extermination updates, and my first bed bug maintenance requests were even deleted, falsely indicating it was resolved or ever existed. It would take sometimes more than 5 days or more to receive management response even if you contacted them everyday. On top of that no one is ever in the office so good luck speaking to someone in person. Additionally, a month after moving in, on October 19, 2023, my outdoor patio chairs were stolen. Despite reporting this theft to the management, I received no response. On August 1st, my mail was also stolen, again showing the lack of surveillance and security in the area. Additionally, the gutter above my patio was broken, causing flooding at my door during rain and creating dangerous icicles in the winter. This issue has persisted throughout my lease, with no resolution or response despite my initial early maintenance request. The lack of follow-up and support for serious issues like theft, gutter issues, and pest control shows a complete disregard for residents' well-being. They also said that I could get a lease refund for me not living there for 3 months. After I moved out, I received my deposit but when I contacted them multiple time about an additional refund…no response. They basically ghosted me. Overall, I would NOT recommend Brittain Park Apartments to anyone due to their unprofessional management and inability to address critical issues. Highly recommend you find some where else to live…
