I relocated to Toledo in 2017. I gotta admit I was not impressed with the outdated building and unit but the views are nice and the price was right. The windows, carpet, kitchen flooring, and bathroom fixtures are old/outdated however I was able to decorate the space to my liking. VAlso the unit was not "move in" clean. I had to hire professional cleaners during my move-in phase. I moved in under a different property mgr. Please keep in mind the current property mgr, Amber Root, is hands on and turning things around for the better. At the end of my first year lease I met with Amber to determine if I wanted to upgrade to a 2 bdrm or renew my lease. Amber scheduled a time to stop by my unit and hear my concerns. She genuinely seems to care. And she kept her word by replacing my non-working stove and fridge. Yeah I went almost a year without a working oven and freezer. On the bright side, I have never had any issues with bugs or rodents in my unit. Amber has implemented a routine pest control schedule and she's strict with ensuring pest control services are completed - which is needed and is appreciated. Fast forward to my recent meeting with Amber. She continues to be hands on and cares about improving this apartment building. She mentioned the building now has security. I am truly impressed by her work ethic. She has a tough job but makes it look easy. I wish Amber was the property manager when I initially moved in as I'm certain I would have moved into a much nicer unit. No regrets because overall I like it here and my paycheck goes a long way - meaning it's affordable highrise living. I honestly believe Executive Towers is moving in the right direction under Amber's leadership. She has done a lot of great things in a short amount of time. Crossing my fingers she stays onboard. Do I recommend moving to Executive Towers Apartments? Yes, only if Amber Root is the property mgr. Thanks, T. Jones on the 9th floor
