I drove over to Charlotte from the Triangle this past weekend and took a look at a few properties that I hoped might work for my partner and myself when/if we wind up relocating to Charlotte soon. I've never been a resident at Camden Sedgebrook, but I can say that if we do wind up moving over that way, this property would be probably on the short list--mostly because of the very welcoming leasing agent, Glenda.
Now, onto other things:
It's a beautifully kept property with nice landscaping and it seemed very clean. I was a little disappointed at how close together the buildings are, but maybe I've been spoiled by where I've been living the past ten years. Camden was certainly a very pretty community with nice landscaping.
I am not a fan of "techology packages," since I can count on one hand the number of times I have watched TV in the last year and I don't like being forced to pay for something I have no use for. I can make use of cable internet, just not the TV. Valet trash? Eh, I can take out my own trash and always do that more than once a week, but I do appreciate the nicety of once a week putting my trash out to be taken out by someone else. Do I need it? No, not at all, but I'll take it. Charging me for a parking space? Oh come. on, stop that! Just price that in with the rent. Those types of charges seem so unnecessary to me.
The application fees seem exorbitantly high to me. I think I'm just weary of feeling nickel-and-dimed with so many businesses in the past few years. For two people, the admin fee and application fees came to about $400--that's too much, really. We've both got excellent credit scores and it doesn't cost anywhere near that to run a credit and background check. That part, well, that was a big turn off.
Would any of this stop me from choosing Camden if we do wind up moving to Charlotte? I can't say for sure, but I can say for sure that the apartments and the property are very nice.
But the best part was the leasing agent, Glenda. I don't know where Camden found this lady, but she is absolutely lovely, a wonderful representative for Camden. Glenda was incredibly gracious, personable, and patient. If the rest of the staff are anything like Glenda, well, that IS something that would make a big difference to me in choosing Camden over another property.
So I'm going with 5 stars to be fair, because I've not actually been a resident, but the grounds, the buildings, and Glenda all made very, very nice impressions on me. Thank you, Glenda for your hospitality!
So comfortable and quiet here surrounded by woods,squirrels,birds and even a baby chipmunk(thats right a baby chipmunk is living right near me ,and i see it almost every day.

I recently looked at several apartment communities in the Charlotte area, and by far I was impressed with the professionalism and kindness showed to us by Glenda in the office. Although our plans ultimately changed, I would not hesitate to rent an apartment here.
This is our second month. We love living here. Great location.. We had few service request for small issues, they response very quickly! And huge thanks to Glenda who helped us to move here! Very smooth moving experience. Thanks!
Today, we live in Camden Sedgebrook, very cool apartments, we like everything. There are no comments about the apartments, clean and well-kept territory, on the territory there is a swimming pool, barbecue area, gym and much more, within walking distance there is a beautiful alley with many shops and cafes. We would like to say special thanks to the office staff, the guys who are always in touch to help and advise with any question regarding accommodation. We thank Craig Ciaccia for his trust and help in settling in, as well as in registering with all services and signing all contracts. I recommend Camden Sedgebrook.

My husband Chris and I went to tour some apartments last minute and stopped into Sedgebrook and was greeted by Craig who was able to provide us with great customer service. He was very attentive to our needs and was able show us different options that he felt would be the best fit. He was very nice and was willing to go above and beyond to assist with our checklist. The homes are beautiful and the customer service is excellent! I highly recommend these apartments.

Amazing apartment complex! Maintenance team and office staff are awesome and everyone is always so nice and friendly. Great apartment complex to live in!! Glenda and Karleen in the leasing office have always been great and the maintenance lead, Daniel, is fantastic, always on time and I never have to worry about something being broken in my apartment. Apartments are very nice and newly renovated and the price is very reasonable. Would recommend this complex without hesitation
