20 YEARS. That's how long I stayed at Elm Villa Apartments...20 years. I moved in as a student, became a working professional and now due to COVID-19, I have moved away and on to other adventures in life. A few others have lived there LONGER that I did! That's right...longer! For all that will be looking for a place to stay in Greenville, NC, please let me share with you why this is first and only place you need to look to stay. 1) FAMILY-OWNED BUSINESS. The owners/management are a COMPLETELY AMAZING husband and wife team. They're simply awesome!!! They take deep pride in offering a wonderful product for you to call home. Every apartment is renovated after someone leaves and before the next person moves in. If there's a need, it's address quickly. Got ideas or concerns, they'll listen. If you want to swap out some of the pre-furnished apt with some of your personal furniture, they'll work with you. You just feel good knowing that management is going above and beyond the call of duty. 2) SUPER CLEAN. Not only the apartment grounds, which are always kept tidy. But when you go on a tour of an apartment and when you move in...SUPER CLEAN!!! They take being clean and neat seriously!!! 3) LOCATION. You are within a 5-10 min drive to anywhere you need to be. Plus you have a 6-mile bike trail 2 blocks away, tennis courts about 6 blocks away, Town Common area (summer concerts) about 11 blocks away and other places you need/want. If you're a student, you're 5 blocks away from campus. 4) MIX OF NEIGHBORS. Sure, it's usually more college students but ALL live here and it's a good thing. Working professionals, retired people, first responders, trade workers, graduate students, international students/workers, younger people, middle-age, older, different backgrounds and cultures...all coexist!! It gives Elm Villa a very calm vibe. Even the second year college student will behave when they are surrounded by people who punch a clock. On the weekends, the clock punchers understand that some fun has to be had. It just works out! 5) SPACE TO RELAX. After last year (2020) I think we all understand that sometimes you just need some space to unwind and enjoy the sunshine. Elm Villa does NOT pack 500 people in a box. There's plenty of space to move about. Especially green space. The grass, trees and outside rec area (hammock and tables) are a great way to get away from it all. Sitting in the rec area under a shade tree on a sunny day with a cool drink is just awesome! Surrounding house parties do not last long. "The Villa" is a chill place. Plus, sometimes you smell beautiful smoke coming from a grill. Reminds you of home. 6) THE RULES. They are fair and properly enforced. The rules ensure that all have equal chance to enjoy themselves and not infringe on others. If you were raised with manners, it won't be a problem for you. 7) THE PRICE. It's fair and reasonable! When you consider the high quality of 1 & 2 bedroom apartments that are renovated and pre-furnished...and the super-clean facilities...you can't beat it! BOTTOM LINE - If I could go back, I would. No hesitation!!! Others would agree with me. Try your very best to get in Elm Villa. If they're full, ask to get on the waiting list. Call them monthly if you have to. Drop notes on the website and social media. Calling is best! You want to have a safe/good time and just focus on what you came to do. It was a great time for me! I will keep the memories close no matter where I go. I hope you have a great time to. As they say on their website...Elm Villa Apartments, "Feels Like Home."

This is one of the best places I've ever lived. Super clean and cozy. The landlords are great people and keep everything neat and will straighten out any issues you may have right away. I highly recommend!
