We came from out of town to hunt for apartments and condos for my ex who is moving to Harrisburg and toured the facility with Christina Tinder and she was amazing. You know that uncomfortable feeling you have when you are looking for a new place to move in a new town and you feel out of sorts in an unfamiliar environment? All of that will dissipate when you meet Christina. She put us at ease, answered all of our questions, took time to figure out what we were looking for, helped us consider pros and cons of different units. It was obvious to us that she cares not only about the property (which is beautiful and well kept with stunning views from the balconies) but cares about the people she is helping. We didn't end up renting from Executive House but it was one of the best places we toured and the responsiveness, humor, and kindness of Christina and Jonathan are exceptional.
I lived in the Executive House Apartments in the renovated floor for 4 years while I completed my medical training at the hospital.
The location was in a safe and prime location, close to restaurants, fitness centers, and also very close to the bridge and expressways. It was also less than a minute walk to work, which was the hospital. My apartment itself was extremely spacious and had high enough ceiling to fit my 10 foot Christmas tree.
Jon Cameron, the building manager, is wonderful! He is very friendly and accommodating. The building itself is maintained very well. Anytime I've had a maintenance issue, it was addressed within 24 hours. The garbage chute area is cleaned daily, and it was always clean.
Thank you Jon for the being the best property manager I know, will definitely miss this place I called home for 4 years!
I moved to the area from out of town and was given a tour by Christina Tinder. She was so helpful, was super friendly and convinced me to move to Executive House right away. I am so glad I did! I love living right downtown, it makes everything so much easier and my apartment is beautiful.
I stayed in a renovated 1 BR apartments and I really enjoyed living here for the past 3 years while I completed my training. The apartment is clean, safe and the location is great in downtown Harrisburg, walking distance to restaurants/bars and the city island/Harrisburg beach. Jonathan is an amazing property manager and is always helpful as well as other staff on the property.
I've been living in an affordable studio at Executive House Apartments for about a year now and can definitely recommend this place for anyone considering moving or staying in Harrisburg thanks to the wonderful staff and people living here.
Staff - The property manager Jonathan has been extremely helpful when it comes to the leasing process, notifying residents about maintenance, and being responsive in general. The office is closed on weekends, but the staff are always happy to help during the weekdays.
Location - As for the area, there are a lot of great restaurants and bars on S 2nd Street for those interested in after work drinks & happy hours. There are also plenty of food options in the next town over in Camp Hill, Lemoyne, and even Mechanicsburg but require a car to get there. For transportation, the Amtrak is only a 2 minute walk away so it's easy to travel home (Northeastern region) and visit family during the holidays.
Cons - The only cons I can think of are that it can get pretty noisy at times since the building is located on the main street. Also during the summer, there tends to be a lot of bugs and insects by the front and back entrance, so I'd be weary of that.
Other than that, I'd recommend this establishment to any city folk looking for an affordable and well-maintained living space. I like to compare living in the area to be almost like a mini New York City.
Thank you Jonathan and the staff for making my stay a pleasant one! :)

Overall, great value. I lived here for two years in an upgraded unit (stainless appliances, wood floors). I only had to call maintenance twice due to the air conditioning system being antiquated, but they were always quick to fix the issue. Having garage parking was very nice, the building is quiet, and the rent was cheap. If you prefer your own laundry machines then look elsewhere, but their system worked fine.

I have been living here for almost 3 months and the building has transformed for the better in-front of my eyes. The staff really cares about this establishment and it’s one of the cleanest, safest places i’ve ever lived. Everyone is really friendly and the walls are like concrete or something because you seriously rarely hear your neighbors. The balcony included with my apartment has an amazing view. I couldn’t recommend this place any more, and Jonathan makes the process easy as can be. I love it here, and I haven’t even experienced the summer months yet.
I only lived here for a year, but I really liked it. There’s enough activity to feel a little life happening but quiet enough to wind down uninterrupted. The renovated apartments are gorgeous, but my standard studio was in great shape and really felt like a home. Weirdly....this was also the most sound proof place I’ve ever been. Never once heard a neighbor.
John Cameron, the property manager, is super reliable; friendly; and took care of any issues I had immediately if he was on site or as soon as he came back. Rent was affordable, the view I had was amazing (river, train crossing the bridge, sunset...basically a perfect way to unwind).
All in all this was a great place to live. I had other options that were slightly cheaper, but I made the right choice choosing the Executive House.
