Property Id: 2621978 Large TWO bedroom + TWO bathroom historic apartment in turn-of-the-century Avenues 6-plex. This is a really rare two story apartment with a full bedroom and full bath on each floor. Plus LOTS of big, walk-in closets, tall ceilings, and a huge basement for even more storage space for things like bikes and camping gear, winter tires, extra furniture, etc. (There are also separate entrances on each level... in addition to the spiral staircase connecting the two floors seen in some of the pics... which is great for roommates on different schedules and for moving furnishings in and out of the 2nd floor.) The building has a huge wrap around front porch that is great for morning coffee and dining al fresco with friends. (Great sunset views from there as well.) And nice mountain views from the upstairs windows as well. 10 foot ceilings and lots of big windows + a big master bath in a very period correct / historic style with original turn-of-the-century fixtures. This property has been RESTORED--not "updated"... so it has tons of character and original architectural details from 1905... including the original hardwood floors, beautiful original art glass windows--and original wood-burning fireplace. Plenty of unrestricted street parking but no off-street parking... which is pretty common for these 120+ yr old places in the Aves... that were built long before cars were a thing. Gardening opportunities for those with a green thumb. Recycling available. On-site laundry + washer / dryer connections in the unit. WiFi & ethernet set up for the tenants to share as part of the monthly utilities. In addition to the two bedrooms, there is a nice office / den area upstairs as well. Pet-friendly landlord in general, but due to the style and nature of this particular (historic / restored) property, we prefer no dogs and don't do larger dogs--or packs of dogs. We don't do co-signers or rent to teenagers or early-20-somethings with little-to-no rental history. And that's the way we like it. 12-month lease is required to begin but we generally allow shorter extensions or month-to-month options after that first 12 months.
