Property Id: 2250328 Our little home in Rowena, Oregon is perfect for the single person, couple or small family who desire a low-stress, comfortable rental in a simply beautiful, rural location. The home is single-story 2bed, 1bath with all needed appliances, a modern kitchen and surprising luxuries such as heated stone floors, on-demand heated water, rain room shower with 3+ shower heads, installed "murphy" beds, gas range, full LED lighting, well water w/water softener, septic system, capacious electrical system, efficient heat pump/central air--there's even an EV charger if needed. The house was fully renovated in 2011 and has been deeply freshened up just this month with new paint and all repairs done. All of this on 7 acres with use of a rustic barn for storage. The home also has a front grass yard and side patio perfect for playing on or having a BBQ. There is plenty of parking and the neighbors are kind. The home is only 15 minutes from Hood River and 10 minutes from The Dalles; moreover Mayer SP is only a 3 minute drive! Rowena is in the Chenowith Elementary School zone, a school our children have loved, although Mosier Elementary is an option and an equal distance drive; about 8 minutes for either. Rent is $2100/mo with first and last due at signing, along with $1000 security deposit. Renters will be required to have these utilities: garbage service & electrical service. Renter's insurance will also be required. Pets, within reason, are fine but there will be an additional $500 security deposit. A credit score of 600+ will be required, along with a rent-to-income ratio of no more than 40%. We will conduct a background check and require a rental history. Smoking of any kind will not be allowed inside the house. We follow all fair housing laws. We are hoping for a long term renter, but will begin with a 6-month lease.
