Hi, I'm looking to share a 1-bedroom apartment in the Cambie Village area of Vancouver. My regular roommate is currently away (and the space is available from July 20 to August 31 or September 14). Note: the July rent would be prorated and I can offer a discount of $50 for being good about following the cleaning schedule and helping to water the plants. The available space is a sectioned off den / solarium area that is adjacent to the living room. This 100 square foot area includes a single bed with new mattress, shelf, nightstand, clothing rack and large sized desk and is quite cozy. It also has a spectacular view of the city, ocean and mountains with plenty of sunlight. This sectioned space and living room basically turns into your own private studio space in the evenings (video available upon request). This room is perfect for a student or employee, as it’s a peaceful area to study or work from. There is a balcony with outdoor plants, and the inside is decorated with tropical plants. It’s also in an amazing location and very close to local transit hubs and within walking distance to many desirable amenities. About you: Ideally you are independent and don’t mind being at the apartment on your own, at least some of the time. It’s also preferable if you have f/t or p/t work and/or school courses to attend. Guests are OK (no o/n please), and 24 hours notice is required. There is a basic and reasonable cleaning schedule to follow and a couple of rules regarding kitchen usage. *Perks:* - located within a 5 minute walk to the Cambie Broadway and King Ed stations, #9 and #99 B-line buses (about 35 minutes by bus to UBC) - close to many tasty restaurants and local coffee shops - outdoor pool and BBQ patio area - laundry machines available in the basement (works with an access card) - utils are included (WiFi, heat, electricity, contents insurance) Note: Female preferred. Zoom preferred for first viewings, but in-person can also be arranged. Thanks!
