ALPINE - LARGE, 2+ bedroom, 2 bath, 2800 square feet on a large private ranch. Thank you for visiting our ad. As you can see from the photos, this large custom built house is in excellent condition, and is located in a fairly unique setting. It is located approximately 4 miles south of the Interstate 8/Japatul Valley Road off ramp and approximately ¼ mile from the Japatul Valley Road/Lyons Valley Road/ Japatul Road intersection. Views include cattle grazing on adjoining ranches, Gaskill peak to the south, and acreage in field crops. A 6 foot chain-link fence surrounds the house compound which is set back a distance from the paved road. In addition to the house there is a carpeted office and a two-car garage. We are open to the possibility of pets including horses but only under specific conditions that include proper manure removal as well as fly abatement. We are not interested in allowing pit bulls or other large aggressive attack dogs. The water is supplied by well and the renter would be responsible for electric fees, telephone, trash disposal, internet, television, and a $30 per month security alarm charge. A long time local resident who happened to own the local lumber yard constructed the house. The interior of the house has no drywall and has all wood floors, walls and ceilings with the exception of the carpeted living room and tiled kitchen, two bathrooms, and separate laundry room. To apply requires an application, three-part credit report for each adult (which is available at no cost) and, of course, an interview. The security deposit is 150% of the monthly rent of $2,200.00, which would be $3,300.00. Tenants are required to provide the owner with a binder showing that they have renters liability insurance for a minimum $100,000.00 and listing the owner as a person of interest. Depending on pets or livestock, an additional pet deposit would be required and additional insurance may also be necessary. School bus stops are located within 1/4 mile. Elevation is approximately 2500 feet and snow flurries occur once every couple of years.
