The entire apartment has been updated with energy efficient appliances, completely new insulation, and radiant heating & cooling system. This means energy costs will be incredibly low for the area. Rent for a couple is: $1050 /month. The apartment is still being renovated but will be completed by August 1 at the latest. Here ( http://imgur.com/a/ab18b#0 ) are photos of the apartment, renovations in progress. We are: Paul hails from Los Angeles by way of France and Washington DC. He is 26 and will be starting medical school at Brown University in the fall. He completed his undergraduate education in Psychobiology and French at UCLA in 2008 and has since lived in France and Washington DC where he has been working in biomedical research and at community health clinics with an emphasis in HIV care and serving the poor and underserved. He comes from a family of musicians and plays the cello and guitar. Paul enjoys cycling, cooking, the outdoors, exploring and getting to know his neighborhood, learning about local culture, food and health awareness, farm shares, home-brewed beer, and living as locally as possible. Hannah also comes to Providence by way of Washington DC where she was born and raised. She is 25 and is presently working on her Masters in Social Work at Smith College to become a therapist. She will be in Providence for an internship and will be working on her thesis. Hannah has spent the last year in Baltimore, MD working at a Residential Treatment Center for teens with severe emotional and behavior issues; basically, at this point she can handle about any insult you throw at her. Hannah LOVES cooking. Seriously. She also loves music, traveling, art, politics, reading, TV & movies, discovering hole-in-the-wall restaurants/bars, good conversation (or debate), & meeting new people. Who you are: We are looking to live with another couple of similar age. You are kind, respectful, and interesting. You are social and enjoy spending time with friends, but you don't want to live in a party house. You are not simply looking for a place to live but instead are looking for a "home" environment where you are friendly [or friends] with your housemates. We also have a ton of kitchen stuff & love cooking, so you are hopefully someone who likes to eat really great food.
