About 3579 Dunbar St
Hi there, thanks for checking out my add. I am looking for a roommate from Feb 1 onwards. The pictures are from the summer of 2012 when my roommate and I moved in. The apartment now has plants (some made it!), is fully furnished and has a really nice atmosphere to it...really homey and not the usual basement-suite feel. The costs are $600 + 30 for internet. The Room is part of a 2bdr-basement suite with an additional living room and outdoor sitting area. Ideally, I am looking for a roommate who would like to spend some time with his/her roommate every now and then - sharing meals or a story - and not see the space just as a place to sleep. Knowing that life happens, the willingness to make it happen is a good start :-) If the general outline sounds appealing, just drop me a message with any questions you might have and I am happy to show you the place or arrange a showing on Skype if you are out of town at the moment. Some more information: advantages: awesome roommate (parttime :-) ) apartment is very light and clean lot of extra storage awesome, supportive and flexible landlords Dunbar is close to UBC bus stop (25/7) right in front of the house large windows with loads of light coming in nice-feel carpet in all of the apartment (except kitchen) big kitchen roofed outdoor space lots of build-in storage no smoking or pets inside the apartment well-equipped kitchen disadvantages: Rent does not include laundry (facilities up the road: about 4 Dollars per week for me) Dunbar is relatively far from downtown (about 30min commute) low ceilings (I am doing fine at 1.82m) ... ? I also have a nice short film in which you can get a good feeling for the place, which I am happy to share with you if you are interested... PS: Please don't contact me if you are looking for a place for one of your kids for university etc - if they can't do it themselves, they would probably not be happy living here :-)
