I'm looking for a like-minded individual to share my beautiful home @ 18th and Yukon. If the description below seems like a good fit, tell me a bit about yourself (employment, interests, why you're moving, etc.) and we'll go from there! The place is available November 1 or October 15. THE PLACE -Main floor of beautiful 4-level character home with mature trees and a great big back yard -2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom -Huge back patio and front veranda -Storage space in the unit, and also outside in the garage -Shared laundry for all 4 suites in a separate laundry room -Plenty of free on-street parking -Minutes to Canada Line, Main Street and Cambie Village -Furnished or partially furnished, depending on what you have -Share option in cool CSA neighbourhood program run by City Beet Farm -New appliances and cabinets in kitchen -Garden plot -Lots of room for bikes -Utilities (hydro, Internet, share of tenant insurance) are extra at ~$60/month ABOUT ME I'm a 31 year old working professional female, originally from Vancouver Island but have called Vancouver home for the past 3 years. I like my home to be a clean, quiet, comfortable and cozy place to unwind, cook nice meals and hang out, but also enjoy having friends over from time to time for dinner and other social events (yes I'll admit, I'm a Catan-er). I'm typically super busy between work, some night courses, and other week-night interests and activities. Many weekends I'm away pursuing my passions: mountaineering, skiing, climbing, mountain biking, well - pretty much anything in the mountains. This home is in a great neighbourhood and I think it's a great find, so I'm looking for someone to share it with me when my current roommate/friend moves to San Francisco next month so that I can stay! I'm not looking for a new BFF but I'm friendly and social and want someone that I enjoy being around. And I want this place to be a comfortable, happy home for both of us, so am open to re-decorating or whatever else is necessary to make it so. If you think we might get along, I'd love to hear from you.
