The apartment itself is clean and tastefully furnished with lots of shared storage. I am a serious student (beginning my PhD in the fall) and would prefer a fellow upper year or graduate student (or working adult) to share the space with. Rent for the room is $459.00 plus utilities (can be expected to be about $60/month including water heater rental – that’s right! No lack of hot water!). Shared wireless internet can be included for $23.00/per month (300 GB monthly limit, unlimited between 2 and 6am). Parking is available if required at $40.00/month indoor or $30.00/month outdoor. If you don’t have a car, it’s a very central location and only a seven minute walk to the Guelph bus terminal. There’s also plenty of room for bike storage. This is a professional, quiet building with great maintenance staff and very nice neighbors! The apartment is a huge space with an additional dining area and solarium (which is currently being used as a study). It’s totally furnished so all you’d need to bring is bedroom furniture (but I’m also happy to redecorate to accommodate different tastes!). As for your flatmate: I’m a clean and courteous 29 year old who loves gaming, sci-fi, literature and film. I currently have a dog and two cats, but that will be dropping down to one cat in the near future. The building is very pet-friendly and I would definitely consider adding another furry (or scaly!) friend to the mix if necessary. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to see the place.
