1913 Apartments, located in the heart of downtown Atchison, is immediately next door to an $11 million state-of-the-art YMCA facility and within walking distance of multiple parks, restaurants, coffee, and a neighborhood grocery store. The building features a beautiful blend of classic and contemporary interior finishes, an elevator to all four levels, premium countertops, ceramic tile throughout the kitchens and bathrooms, slate toned GE appliances, laundry facilities in each unit, and high speed fiber internet service. Originally built in 1913 as a YMCA boarding house, the building was redeveloped into a 17-unit apartment building with a grand re-opening in the summer of 2020. Utilities: Water, wastewater, trash, and high speed fiber internet are included in the rent. Tenant pays their own electricity bill. Pets: No pets except for properly documented service and emotional support or service animals. Security/Keys/Access: All four entrances to the building are secured at all times. Access is managed with electronic key fobs and a customized access code for each tenant. Indoor Mail Delivery: Mail will be delivered inside the building in the first floor's mail vestibule. A washer, dryer, and all kitchen appliances, including a garbage disposal, ice maker, and microwave, are included in each unit. Other tour times available upon request.
