Available for rent ASAP (Feb 1st) is a beautiful three bedroom lower level suite for rent minutes from all amenities, located at 3233 Shelbourne St. in Saanich (Victoria). The spacious suite was fully renovated in 2012, although has new linoleum in all 3 rooms as of 2022. Fridge is 3 years old, and unit was fully repainted with all blinds replaced in 2022. Bathroom (shower stall only) includes pedestal sink and is located off of the kitchen area. The suite includes shared use of washer/dryer with upstairs tenant (3 roommates). The suite is approximately ~850 square feet (including a dry 4x6 storage area), has all vinyl windows and good lighting from both natural light and overhead fixtures. You'll have shared access to the fenced backyard as well (ie, for pets). The house's location is ideal, only steps away from Mcrae's restaurant, bus stop in front of the house, a 5 minute walk to Camosun Landsdowne, and a 10 minute bus ride/bike or 5 minute drive to UVIC. The house is also only an 8 minute drive from downtown and a 4 minute walk from Hillside Mall which includes Thrifty's, Starbucks, food court, and tones of other shopping. Pull it up on Google Maps: location doesn't get more ideal! Parking for 2 vehicles in tandem for the unit. Available February 1st (or ASAP if it is not rented by Feb 1st). Price $2,290 plus 50% of hydro and water bills split with upper tenant. Heating is via electric baseboard. However, this is a non-smoking suite and not conducive to loud parties. Open to pets. 1 year fixed lease to revert to month-to-month thereafter. References and credit check required. Mature and reliable tenants mandatory.
