It is a wonderful community with great residents and management. This is a must see! The location is perfect to drop a fishing line since it is on the water and right next to the Kissimmee River. Less than an hour drive to West Palm Beach. Community has: Docks Boat Ramp Fish House FREE Laundry FREE WiFi Bath House Gym Weekly Bingo, Poker and other community events. $850 per month includes everything (Water, sewer, and FREE WiFi) except electricity. Electricity is extra and separately metered. We do background check for recent evictions and criminal history. Fee is $40 per adult. Pet's are permitted but there are breed restrictions. A nice place to visit, but a great place to live Located on the beautiful Lake Okeechobee – Southern Sun RV Resort in Okeechobee, Florida is a Senior 55+ RV Park and is a great place to spend your years or to visit seasonally and relax away the winter under the warm Southern Sun. Southern Sun RV Resort is located in a great fishing area. Close to the Kissimmee River and Lake Okeechobee with large oversized lots and a boat ramp right on the canal to put in your boat. Crappie and Bass fishing are abound at Southern Sun RV Resort with plenty other species waiting for you. Southern Sun RV Resort is the perfect waterfront base in Okeechobee, Florida for your adventures like fresh water fishing, boating and hiking. When the adventures are done come on home and partake in our wide range of RV Park activities from card games to bingo in our activity room or just relax and drop a line off of the dock and see what you catch. The great sense of community among our dedicated staff and our wonderful residents makes our valued RV guests feel warm and welcome.
