Less than 5 minutes to Foxen Canyon and the charming towns of Los Olivos and Solvang, this is the perfect weekend getaway. The home is surrounded on all sides by over 5,000 square feet of deck - accessible from every room, it is the perfect place to start or end your day. Built for indoor/outdoor style living, our dining and sleeping arrangements comfortably accommodate a maximum of 12. There are west and east facing wings, each hosting separate master suites, and two large guest bedrooms (for a house total of 4 king beds and 2 queen beds). The deck leads out to a large swimming pool (not heated) and garden with a BBQ area. The orchard walk runs behind the pool, and is home to over 30 mature citrus and avocado trees. Los Olivos, Santa Ynez and Solvang are all within a 10 minute's drive of each other, and have very charming town centers as well as great dining options. Vineyards abound - there are so many to choose from! Everything in the valley is very close together, and driving into Santa Ynez takes about 25-30 minutes from Santa Barbara. Many people come to this area to cycle, hike, ride horseback, play golf at the renowned Rancho San Marcos course, take a glider or hot air balloon ride, and most especially, for the wine (and excellent food!) Special amenities include: 2 separate master suites, pool, BBQ, pool table, large family/TV room, deck access from all guest rooms, gourmet kitchen, and an elevator that goes from the east garage to the main floor atrium.
