Up the staircase is the main living area, which includes the Kitchen in addition to the Living/Dining space. This space has over height vaulted ceilings and light coloured laminate flooring helping to make it bright and cheerful. As one of the main advantages to living in a laneway home, there are windows on opposite walls, providing added light and cross breezes to help keep things cool in the summer. The upper level also has a balcony. The Kitchen is tucked along the right side of the upper level, and has brand new appliances, cabinetry, countertops and fixtures, including the fridge and the stove/oven. A window located over the kitchen sink allows for added fresh air while cooking. There are 2 large sloped roof storage closets, one at each end of the kitchen, providing extra pantry space and additional storage. A brand new washer and dryer has been installed on the upper level There is not a parking space included, however there is plenty of street parking located along East 2nd Avenue. This is a no pet and no smoking rental. The location is close to transit, just a couple of minutes walk to the stop for busses going to Renfrew Skytrain Station and to the Renfrew Community Centre, both of which are just a short bus ride down Renfrew Street. This is also just a couple of minutes walk to the 1st Ave Marketplace which has a T&T Supermarket in addition to a selection of shops and eateries. Trout Lake is also a short trip away, and can be reached by car in less than 10 minutes.
