Private Flathead Beach Front - Penny Island Lodge VACATION RENTAL ONLY! - Welcome to our little slice of heaven nestled on Indian Bay of Flathead Lake. We are pleased to offer our family's lake home to people who are seeking secluded and quiet beach front property. The cabin has its own private beach and dock. Please bring your boat and all the water toys you want. If you are looking for the Taj Mahal, this rental this is not it. Our lake home is a comfortable 2 bedroom rustic cabin with a small guest house. The guest house is a nice separation for adults and children, or put the in-laws in it. (Sleeps 10 comfortably) From our deck you can enjoy exceptional views of Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountains with several small islands close enough to kayak, paddle board, or for those that swim like fish to get to. During the evening enjoy super sun sets from the deck or go down to the beach and use the fire pit. There’s nothing like a hotdog or a s’more done over a camp fire. Indian Bay is just a short drive from the town of Polson that offers all the things that vacationers might need, such as grocery stores, shopping, and a wide variety of activities. Hike the Mission Mountains or walk through the foothills right from cabin's door. Horseback riding, whitewater rafting, scenic flight tours, golfing, boat tours, fishing, farmer’s market, concerts, and local museums are all a part of the cultural conveniences. The Flathead area is home to one of the most productive cherry producing areas in the world and don’t miss out on the opportunity to pick huckleberries. Glacier National Park, Seeley Swan, The Bob Marshall Wilderness, Whitefish and Big Mountain Ski Resort (Summer activities include: Zip Line, Mountain Biking, Alpine Slide, Spider Monkey Mountain, Ariel Adventure Park, Scenic Lift Rides, Summer Nature Center), Quinn’s Hot Springs Retreat, the town of Hot Springs, and the National Bison Range are all just a short drive away.
