About 2833 Missouri Ave
Hello! My current roommate and I are looking for a roommate in a beautiful 1880's rehabbed three story home in the Benton Park neighborhood in south city. The bedroom has 1 closet, overhead lights, and a ceiling fan. It is on the 2nd floor of the home and is approximately 15X12. The carpeting in the room was brand new in March 2013 and there is exposed brick on the southern wall. This is easily the most beautiful bedroom in the house and gets great light all day long. The room is unfurnished. Other Amenities: Basement storage Brand new appliances and marble counter tops in large gourmet kitchen Washer/ Dryer Brand new carpeting, furnace, air conditioner, hot water heater, dishwasher Close to AWESOME places! We are a few blocks from Benton Park, Luvy Duvys, Yemanja, Ernestos, Blues City Deli, Venice Cafe, Frazers, The Filling Station, Jax Cafe, Benton Park Cafe, Keypers....etc.... I live on the 3rd floor and have a private bathroom. You would share the 2nd floor bath with the other woman who lives here. There is an additional half bath and laundry on the first floor along with the kitchen, dining room, and living room. We have 3 indoor, declawed cats. Pets ok if they get along with cats. GLBT friendly. Smoking outside is no problem. Utilities (gas, electric, water, sewer, trash, charter internet, and the alarm system) are a flat rate of $150 per month, $515 total. I'm 26, have lived in this house for about a year and a half and love the neighborhood. I'm out of town for work a lot, but when I'm here I work on my plot at the community garden, cook, have movie nights, go out with friends. Usually at least once a month or so I'll have friends over here for a bbq, bonfire, or brunch. You are of course welcome to do the same.
