GARAGE: Large, detached single-car garage (lockable) (a portion of storage area is reserved for the owners.) FEATURES: Shady north porch & landscaped entry yard, (shared) Patio door to private rear courtyard Second patio door to south yard area Large windows & sky-light. High ceilings, ceiling fans Electric heat + High-efficiency, EPA rated, wood stove Clean well water Washer/dryer included (stack) Kitchen includes sink, refrigerator, microwave, compact electric range, dishwasher Adobe construction, comfortable year-round Enough solar electric back up for basics & water, (not heat – hence the wood stove.) UTILITIES: Utility costs are calculated periodically, (all records transparent), and collected with the basic rent. Currently utilities for the Casita cost is $162/mo, including high speed internet. No phone "land-line" is available. Renter must use cell phone or VOIP. A TV antenna can get several digital broadcast stations. PARKING: Only one vehicle may be parked on the property, and must be kept inside the garage. (Except for visitors, etc.) Additional vehicles, trailers, RVs, etc. may not be stored, long-term, on the property. ANIMALS: A small animal may be allowed after discussion. We keep horses... and they're pretty close! So this casita comes with an occasional horse face over the fence and sometimes a “thump in the night” from the nearby barn.
