Big comfortable home This spacious home has a front wing (with two bedrooms and bath) and a back wing (with master bedroom and bath). Kitchen is central. Lots of privacy. The Winnie Belle sits on a quiet brick street in the heart of historic Old Northeast. Not so little at 1,785 square feet. The large one and a half car garage is attached to the house. Lots of room to store extra stuff. Plus, there is ample parking on both sides of the street. A funky shell chandelier in dining room Faux white-washed shiplap planks in living and dining room. Fireplace surround refinished in light drift wood tones. Hand painted ceiling medallions rich with color give the bungalow an elegant beach cottage feel. Fireplace is gas (in case the weather gets cool). No need to haul in wood. Just flick the button. Two bedrooms & bath in front of house Two bedrooms are off the living room. The smaller one has many useful built-ins including the twin bed. It also doubles as an office. The French doors in the other bedroom open onto the front porch to let in light and breezes. Between the two bedrooms is the bath. Recently rehabbed, back to the original vintage look. Glass tiles in shades of blue, white bead board walls and a tiffany-style light fixture give it that coastal look. The old claw foot tub is not old. It is even better. Pedestal sink has ample room for towels and bathroom stuff. Large chef kitchen Kitchen is large enough for a cooking demo. Plenty of storage in cabinets with a peninsula that can be used for cooking, eating or a grand buffet. Stainless gas range with cooktop is impressive. Chef quality. Nearby is a separate walk-in pantry. Family room conveniently next to the kitchen With an open floor plan, kitchen looks into the family room. Very sunny with a row of windows. Private garden off master bedroom The master bedroom has an ensuite bath and two closets. One a walk in closet. Two sinks in bathroom separated by tall cabinetry allow two to use the bathroom at once. Master shower has extra controls and pressure adjustments. The French doors off the master bedroom open onto a small private deck enhanced by a unique collection of Florida plants. Ever see the 8” blossom of a dutchman's pipe vine? Good place for a cup of coffee in the morning. Convenient laundry room This home has a full laundry room with cabinets. Extra counter space, too. Tropical flowers thrive in the garden Ground orchids in purple and yellow thrive in the front yard as well as pink tea roses. Not a big backyard, but big enough for a love seat and chairs and coffee table. Six foot fence covered with fragrant jasmine vine gives extra privacy. The backyard is easily accessed from the family room. In the heart of Old Northeast For a bungalow, this one is big, but on the outside it retains the charming cottage look. Great location. It is a nice walk to town. Stroll through a neighborhood of craftsman and Mediterranean homes or walk along the waterfront path leading to town. This large three bedroom is a delightful place to stay. Nice safe residential area and close to town.
