Property Status: Pending Fully furnished 2-bedroom & 2-bathroom in South Palm Springs! Open the front door and you can see all the way through. Past the wine rack climbing the wall, past the dining table, out to the sliders at the far end where the light comes in. Everything in that view stays. Not the furniture nobody could sell, either. Warm oak floors run the whole way through, the ceilings lift and open above them, and the whole place sits in cream and oatmeal and pale wood. Linen bedding. Cane-fronted consoles. Ceramics that were chosen rather than bought by the box. Art actually hung. Olive trees in pots by the window. It is calmer in person than the photographs manage to show. The living and dining share one long room. A wood table seats six under a woven pendant, and past it a deep sectional faces a mounted television with sliding doors running down the side, so the light travels across the floor all day and you never have to turn a lamp on before six. The kitchen is a white shaker galley with quartz counters and a stone tile backsplash, an apron-front sink under a window, a gas range for anyone who actually cooks, and a French-door refrigerator. The bedrooms are made up the way a good hotel does. King beds under layered linen, televisions already on the walls, a slider out to the light. There is a walk-in closet with real hanging space, which furnished rentals almost never bother with and which you will be grateful for by week two. Both bathrooms were taken down and rebuilt. Walk-in showers are tiled floor to ceiling in soft marble, with rainfall heads, built-in niches, and pebble underfoot. One has a long double vanity with room for two people to get ready at the same time. The other takes its light from a skylight above an arched mirror. Outside the buildings sit low and single-story, with mature olive trees, desert plantings along the walkways, and the mountains standing behind all of it. The grounds carry pools and a spa, along with tennis and pickleball courts, so the things people usually pay a membership for are already part of living here. Covered parking.
