LOCATION: This two-family house is in the historic town of Portland CT, conveniently located in Central Connecticut, just over the bridge from Middletown. Easy access to highways. 20-30 minutes to both New Haven, Hartford, and CT shoreline. HOUSE: This historic 1880s 2-family house has preserved some great charm of yester-year, while having undergone a recent renovation. There is a large level yard for BBQs and play. And the house is an easy walk to parks and baseball fields. APARTMENT: This first floor three bedroom apartment has recently refinished hardwood floors throughout, charming period woodwork and mouldings. Kitchen is updated with granite counters and bathroom is tiled with shower (no tub). There is also a bonus room in the basement that one could use as a lounge, recreation room or playroom for kids. UTILITIES: This is a cold flat. That's old school language that means tenant pays for heat, HW, electric. Landlord pays cold water, septic, etc.. Heat is propane (most of Portland has no natural gas). PRICE: $2195 + util REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for a tenant with a strong income/work history, a solid rental history, and that gets along well with others :) - Min. 650 credit score - Monthly income = 2.5 rent (approx..) - No Evictions in last 7 years
