It is a very bad place to live! How do I know ? I used to live here before my apartment unit got sold. I lived at 1723 35 ST SE unit 201, It does appear to be clean on the outside and in the apartment building, But trust me, ITS NOT! Living close to 17th ave or "crack ave", druggies and prostitutes come in and out of the building all the time, After a long hard day of work I would come home to find high women sleeping in the hallways and they would have there drug paraphernalia right next to them. At night in the summer that neighborhood became INTENSE! People would throw rocks, Glass bottles, I seen about 3 fights per week, Women, Men and children. I was enjoying a smoothie on my 2nd level balcony when suddenly a man driving down the road jumps out of his car and screams the N word at a man walking by, The other man stopped and looked back at him, The man in his car went into his trunk and grabbed a gun! Then ran towards the man. I went inside so fast and called the police, They did not catch him from what I am aware of. That was the most scariest moment I had while living there. Another time in July at about 8 pm a man was throwing tiny rocks at my neighbors apartment trying to get their attention, I looked outside and the man yelled at me to open the door, I did not! About 5 minutes later I could still hear him screaming, He then threw a huge rock the size of a small bowling ball through my balcony window, Unfortunately I had to pay for it, Since its a big window it cost me over $200. Another time at about 7 pm on a Friday in September a man who appeared to be stabbed in the side was running down the street out of breath screaming for help, a few seconds later coming from 17th ave 3 masked man came running towards him, They punched him to the ground, They were kicking him, Punching him and stomping on his head. I called the police of course and they did not make it to the scene on time. Also if that's not enough for you the brown building across the street in awful! I constantly would hear couples fighting, Kids screaming and loud music. A man who has lived there for about 5 years does not plan on leaving and he always sits in his vehicle blasting music through the late nights, The music is not that bad but when you need to wake up at 7 AM to go to work it gets very tiring. If all this isn't enough for you, There is bed bugs in unit 201 and the units above and below it. It was a very bad case of bed bugs whe..
