About 1621 Lower River Rd
Meanwhile Ranch is a 56-acre ranch in a natural and private setting bordering millions of acres of White River National Forest. The name “Colorado” is of Spanish origin meaning “colored red” which perfectly describes the majestic red rock spires of Arbaney-Kittle Ridge and Triangle Peak above. The approximately 12,000 square foot main residence sits on the original site of the Pitkin County Fairgrounds and is reminiscent of the iconic National Park lodges of the great American West. The four-bedroom, five full and two half bath Adirondack style main residence with its 3,000 square foot great room, 35 foot ceilings, massive six foot boulder fireplace, and three sided balcony library evokes the rustic grandeur of Old Faithful Inn.A wine cellar, a media/game room, a separate bar area, two offices, a commercial grade kitchen with two butler’s pantries, a three-car garage, and numerous wrap around porches complete the Kevin Corn interior designed main residence. Enjoy panoramic views including the Continental Divide from the roof top bird’s nest perch.A brand new three-bedroom plus den 2,500 square foot guest house with stone fireplace and wood flooring throughout was rebuilt in 2011. It is thirteen miles to downtown Aspen and minutes to world class skiing and snowboarding. Meanwhile Ranch is the ideal gathering place for family and friends, a once in a lifetime opportunity that cannot be reproduced today.
