This two-story carriage house sits off of Dauphin Street in an historic section of Midtown Mobile, AL. It has a small garage that is used for storage & laundry only (no car access, parking is next door in a patrolled church lot). It has a washer & dryer that previous renters left. New renter(s) responsible for any future repairs on those. Or, they will be removed if you bring your own washer & dryer. The bottom floor consists of an outside courtyard with swing and two ceiling fans. There is plenty of room for patio furniture, grill, and a portable fire pit. It also has a family room, dining room, & kitchen on the bottom. The kitchen has a fridge & stove. There is a quasi-central heat unit under the stairs that keeps the bottom floor nice & warm during winter. There is also a large AC (only) window unit in the dining room that keeps the entire bottom floor cool in the summer. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms, & 3 closets (2 in bedrooms, the other in the main hallway). One bedroom is the master and has a window AC/Heat unit. The other two bedrooms are smaller, both have AC (only)window units. The bathroom is upstairs with one window AC (only) unit. There is a screened-in porch upstairs with a swing & ceiling fan, perfect for receiving and entertaining company with a great view of the 135-year-old historic main house including the pool, tiki hut, & palm trees. This is a quiet, quaint, & safe historic carriage house, perfect for those that like hardwood floors in an historic part of town.
