Contact by email only please. Upper floor of a 3 story, soon to be classified as a heritage (1947) home, for rent. You will be sub leasing from the tenants on the main floor of the house. Also note that the landlord is local (currently in Burnaby) and will eventually be building his home on the bottom part of the lot starting next year. So there will be construction of that house next year and ongoing touch ups to the current house over the course of the next 12-18 months. Suite has a private (lockable) entrance through the main front door of the house. Being that it is on the upper floor we want to mention that it does have 15 stairs to the suite. 1 larger Bedroom (163 sqft), living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a mini 65 sqft room that is ideal for an office/computer room or a kids room if you have temp custody or similar situation. Rent includes utilities and if you wish to use our Telus Fibre internet we can discuss that cost and we can adjust our current plan for more usage. We are allowing cats and small dogs (again a number of stairs are involved) but due to the construction there is NOT an enclosed yard anymore for a dog to run freely. There is access to a laundry room on the ground floor of the house. Please note ceilings are just 6' 6" so not suitable for taller people unfortunately. 8 blocks from the 22nd Street Skytrain station. There is room for one vehicle parked out front and if there are 2 then it may involve some shuffling about locally. Move in date is slightly flexible as the previous tenant is moved out and some minor fixups are happening shortly. The suite will have new laminate flooring throughout and new vinyl in the bathroom and new lights in bedroom and the main room. There are also a couple of "top-story" storage places in the bedroom and kitchen.
