Available March 1st 2025! *Furnished is optional. Hello! We are a couple looking for a friendly, responsible, mature and clean tenant for our basement 1 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment! There is some furniture and kitchen things in the unit right now, but if you don't need it and want to furnish the unit yourself no worries, we can discuss further and arrange for anything to be removed. We are ideally looking for yearly rentals, but are willing to consider short term rentals (that's why it's semi-furnished!). There is a full kitchen with big fridge, oven, microwave and lots of cupboard space. The laundry room with separate washer and dryer is located conveniently right opposite your unit (it is shared with us). The bedroom has a double bed with box spring, wooden chest of drawers and other storage. There is a small built in closet. The bathroom has a vanity with storage underneath, a toilet and shower. There is a spacious living/dining area with a couch and TV and dining table and chairs right next to the featured fireplace :) Lots of storage in the unit! When you come to view the house and area you will see it is a picturesque and quiet neighbourhood just below the escarpment with easy, nearby access to trails, escarpment stairs, bike paths etc. The location also has groceries, pharmacies, bars and restaurants all within walking and/or short driving distance. We are very close to the lively Ottawa St! There is a lot of parking available for free on the street right in front of the house. $1500 is the rent including internet but not hydro, heat and water which will be accounted for separately (approx $150/mth for utility bills). We are kind, genuine people looking for a likeminded individual! We look forward to hearing from you and meeting you!
