(Close to Grandview park) -Medium sized room can be unfurnished OR partially furnished (mattress/frame only) -Single occupancy only - no couples or pets -Best suited for an individual with minimal items (kitchen/living room is furnished) -No communal storage or laundry in the home (laundromat is a 5 minute walk) -Must be a working professional/student someone who has a job/defined schedule -If you work from home, no more than 1 day during Mon to Fri -Smoking/vaping on the balcony, must do off the property (take a walk) -Open to trial period (2 months) and if all is going well, could continue until Apr 01 (2026) or longer -There is minimal alcohol consumption in this home, please take into this consideration -Shared bathroom -Clean house /no large messes left behind -Quiet home intended for working, reflection, sleep and creative pursuits. -Not a party/overly social house (Guests welcome in moderation and in communication with each other) -Three references required (landlord, former roommate, work colleague) The entire unit is furnished so the communal space is best suited for an individual who doesn't have many items. The room fits someone who wants simplicity and is comfortable with the home already materially arranged. Someone who is comfortable with how the unit is set up/how things operate, and, doesn't feel the need to change it because it naturally works for their disposition. There will be a 2 month trial period to see if both parties work well together in a home setting. My outcome is to find someone long-term however a trial provides enough time to find out if we are compatible for the long-term. I'm open to living with someone between the ages of 25-45. My schedule can vary between full/part-time however I'm very active and maintain a balanced schedule. I enjoy cooking and value a clean and functional kitchen. I also love electronic music so the person I live with has to be okay with this playing occasionally. (I always play music within respectful hours.) The vibe is chill, structured yet easy-going. I'm looking for someone who is respectful, considerate, takes care of themselves and has a routine. I feel that a home is meant to be a place of safety, decompression, a place to unwind and be who you need to be especially as life situations outside the home can often present challenges. Home should be a place of comfort and peace. It's really important to be able to have a roommate that understands this, is reasonable, mature, communicates and is interested in creating peace in the home.
