We are looking for a roommate to rent out the basement of our newly remodeled home in the Montclair neighborhood of Denver. The basement is fully finished but unfurnished. It includes two bedrooms, one full bathroom, 1.5 living room areas, and shared usage of centrally-located upstairs kitchen. The entire house had been remodeled. Both bedrooms have big closets. One of the rooms could be an office if that would work better for your needs. Also, there is direct access to the washer/dryer in basement area, storage room in garage, two gated parking spaces in alley behind house, and one up front. There is good-sized fenced back yard with a covered patio. The house is centrally located on Quebec street, near Lowry. and has easily accessible public transportation. About us...one of us is a female elementary teacher and graduate student and recently purchased this house in the spring. The other is a male small-business owner. We are both in our mid-late 20s and are looking for someone who doesn't mind animals (we have two cats and one small dog) and who is drug-free and smoke-free. We're very much live-and-let-live, but please be considerate. We're very easy to get along with. Must be willing to sign at least 6 month lease. Security deposit is one month's rent, payable over the course of first three months. Tenant must provide proof of employment and subject to background check. Rent is $900 every month, plus half the cost of utilities (your half would typically be about $75 a month). Water and trash are included. Pets negotiable.
