Restrictions: one small pet possible with additional deposit and references. A picture of pet must accompany the application. Proof of neutering and shots to be provided prior to move in. No smoking allowed on the property or inside the home. Property is on well water, septic, propane, farm and requires addendums. Tenant is required to have the soft water (Culligan) service active per month. Proof of tenant insurance, with Backus Properties listed as additional insured, is required prior to move in. Appliances: stove, dishwasher, both electric and propane hook-ups are available for a dryer. ADT alarm system ($45 per month.) payable by the tenant (optional). Culligan water softener runs approx. $45 per month (depending on # of people in home) also payable by the tenant (Subscription to this service is required) Description: This home is located in a beautiful agricultural setting outside of South Salinas. From the drive through front drive to the large arched living room window to the built-in shelves & cabinets throughout, the house is a reminder of our gracious Spanish past. There has been only one owner since it was built in the 30’s and it has recently been substantially and very nicely remodeled. Very large rooms including living room, dining room, and all bedrooms. Hardwood and tiled floors, carpet. Large back patio with wonderful stone fireplace. Two double-car garages with openers. Phone line in garage office. No items, including yard debris, to be disposed of over fence. Basement is not included. Tenant paid utilities: PG&E (electricity), Coast Gas (propane), Waste Mgmt (garbage), AT&T phone, ADT alarm, Culligan water service required , Target Pest control (if desired.) Owner paid: Mowing, edging, blowing yard service every other week. Owner will periodically have a vendor do yard trimming. Tenant is responsible for regular upkeep and watering.
